Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited on board. Thank you for your understanding!

  • Animals, including reptiles and insects.
    Exception: service dogs, in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the relevant section.

  • Weapons or any other dangerous objects.

  • Illegal drugs or cannabis transported for commercial purposes or in quantities exceeding legal limits.

  • Hazardous materials, including but not limited to:

    -Explosives, including related materials (ammunition, fireworks, flares, etc.)
    -Compressed, liquefied, or pressurized gases (propane, liquid oxygen, chlorine, etc.)
    -Flammable liquids (gasoline, diesel, methanol, etc.)
    -Flammable solids (safety matches, sulfur, etc.)
    -Oxidizing substances and organic peroxides (fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, hydrogen peroxide, etc.)
    -Radioactive materials
    -Corrosive substances (acids, bleach, chlorine, laundry detergents, paint strippers, etc.)
    -Other items or materials, such as dry ice (solid carbon dioxide), large-capacity lithium batteries, or solid electrolyte batteries

  • Exception – Dry Ice (UN1845)
    The only permitted exception: dry ice (carbon dioxide, solid) used as a refrigerant, when:

    • It is packed in a small container,

    • It is accompanied by a shipping document stating “carbon dioxide, solid (dry ice) used as a refrigerant”,

    • It complies with the requirements set out by Transport Canada.
