Posts

The Festival d’été de Québec welcomes more than 80 000 people each year and is, without a doubt, one of the most important musical events in Canada. In fact, from the 7th to the 17th of July 2016, you can attend more than 300 concerts offered by artists of all musical styles. Orléans Express invites you to jump aboard our bus that is headed for the National Capital so that you can dance to the beat of this exciting event.

A short history of the Festival d’été de Québec

First held in 1968 and intended to promote popular artists, the Festival d’été de Québec first offered only francophone artists. In the 1980s, artists from Africa, Europe and the United States were invited to liven up the city’s public spaces. Following a survey done in the early 2000s, it was decided that international artists, like ZZ Top, Scorpions and Metallica would also fit right in!

Unbelievable concerts!

Once again, this year the Festival d’été de Québec offers a sensational line-up, like Sting and Peter Gabriel, Hedley, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and even more. Heavy Metal lovers won’t want to miss seeing Rammstein, and those who love rock and roll have to go and see Éric Lapointe. Fred Pellerin, Sofia Nolin, Rémi Chasse, Charlotte Cardin and Dumas, all artists from around here, will also be there!
