The 9th Transat Québec Saint-Malo race will depart from Québec on the 10th of July 2016. The first crossing was in 1984 to commemorate the 450th anniversary of Jacques Cartier’s first voyage to the Gulf of the Saint-Lawrence. In 2016, around thirty teams will gather for the most thrilling of transatlantic races! Whether you live in Drummondville, Trois-Rivières or any other city, don’t miss your chance to attend this event. The primary goal of this race is to introduce the sport of sailing, to let visitors rediscover the beauty of the seaway and to encourage economic and cultural interactions between these two cities. The event’s festivities will take place from the 2nd to the 13th of July in Québec and the 18th to the 28th of July in Saint-Malo.
